Your tasks & responsibilities
- Represents the Head of Alternative Investments in case of absence
- Acts as communication point-of-contact between Scope Fund Analysis and customers
- Enhances Scope’s analytical capabilities and methodologies
- Analyses qualitative and quantitative fund aspects such as structural risks, operational risks, legal and regulatory aspects
- Leads fund rating committees
- Monitors existing ratings and if necessary recommends reviews and changes on a timely basis
- Creates and monitors peer groups
- Is able to conduct discussions with clients, investors and asset managers, as well as giving presentations, explanations and briefings at a highly professional level
- Is able and ready to travel and to show flexibility in accepting tasks and duties and carrying them out as directed
- Works closely with other Alternative Investments team members, staff and management in Scope Fund Analysis and coordinates the workload of junior analysts
- Produces high-quality, insightful and forward-looking research and analytical comments on a timely basis
- Informs colleagues in new topics and passes on knowledge within the team
- Provides guidance to other team members to produce regular performance reports and analyses
Your professional & personal profile
- At least 5 years of experience in the financial industry, that reflects analytical and quantitative skills with a solid understanding of Alternative Investments focusing on the private equity and debt sector
- Extensive knowledge of private markets, such as private equity and private debt, infrastructure and real estate
- Willingness to take responsibility with an entrepreneurial attitude
- Independent thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Multi-cultural, collaborative, self-starter, versatile, inquisitive and detail-oriented personality
- Experiences in research writing with strong written and oral communication skills
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and motivate others to do the same
- Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) computer skills
