(Senior) Analyst - Corporate Credit Production

We are looking to hire a Corporate Analyst to cover the rating analysis on a broad range of sectors. The successful candidate should be based in Frankfurt, Berlin or Poznan and should be able to contribute immediately to supplementing the team’s analytical capability. In this context, you will analyse complex non-financial corporates and write insightful credit research. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to lead operational review visits and take part in (and occasionally lead) meetings with investors, issuers and arrangers. Your tasks & responsibilities

  • Perform analysis and conduct ratings and research on a diversified portfolio of Corporate credits in both high-yield and Investment Grade Corporates
  • Interaction with senior executives (CFOs, Treasury, CEOs, IR) of rated entities and media
  • Act as an industry expert within the various sectors (experience in consumer products and retail is a plus)
  • Presentation to and participation in rating committees
  • Production of rating reports, sector research and timely comments, demonstrating Scope’s expertise in business and industry trends
  • Investor, issuer and arranger outreach, presenting and explaining Scope’s analytical approach

Your professional & personal profile

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in the financial industry, reflecting analytical and quantitative skills with a solid understanding of corporates 
  • Excellent skills in credit analysis/research and financial modelling
  • Fluency in English. Any other European language would be a plus.
  • A strong academic background with an e. g. MSc and CFA charter holder is a plus
  • Independent thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to take responsibility with an entrepreneurial attitude
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and motivate others to do the same
  • Multi-cultural, collaborative, self-starter, versatile, inquisitive, and detail-oriented personality
